International laws exist to determine the course of action of the international community. International laws are used to set rules between relationship of countries. I think that under the conditions of danger should the country beable to redraw it's borders. It would have to be something seriously not just because country would like to redraw from others. It would be easier not to withdraw because it will just cause problem economically and make everything more complicated.

I do not think that the mitigating circumstances help defray the heinous nature of crimes committed. I feel that just because the circumstances may be less severe or serious it should make up for anything else. A crime is a crime and the things involved with that crime are just as important. Both situations of the Cheshire murders had the mitigating circumstances with the heinous nature of crimes.

I think that the the prosecutors sought to bring the defendants to trial instead of accepting the guilty pleas because in a way, if they did that then it would be giving them what they wanted, and do you really want to give the criminal what they wanted when they did just awful things to other people? I think that the opportunity to execute the defendants was too much to pass up, because this had been kind of the perfect case to do it to. One benefit of accepting the offered guilty pleas is that they would be saving money because giving people the death penalty if way more expensive. Negative effects of seeking the death penaltly is that more money will be spent and that criminals families will never be able to see their loved one again, the family is not the ones that committed the crimes so why should they be punished.

The role that mental health issues play in cases such as the Cheshire murders is that sometimes you have to take it into consideration, it may help the process. I don't think their sentence should be any less but I feel their mental health issues should be considered because there is a reason for the way they are the way they are. We as a society should just deal with the two types of systems because that is the way it works.

The process and procedure should be the same as any other crime like this, I don't think it should be treated any differently if their criminal doesn't seem like they're that bad. I think information should be limited to the public but enough for them to get a good understanding of what is going on without going into graphic detail. I don't think the public needs to know the information to that extent. Also if too much information is let out then this could possible mess up the jury with biased opinions. As outsiders we just need to deal with the information that is given to us. It is not given for a reason and we need to respect that
